Dr. Andrea Rocha
Psychologist (Supervised Practice)

Philosophy

I am intrigued by the way that humans are wired to connect with others. In my practice, I strive to build a meaningful connection between us in a gentle and caring way. Similarly, I aim to assist you in building authentic connections with important people in your life. I will help you to explore your strengths and resilience while assisting with the goals that brought you to therapy. I value diversity and the strength that it brings to the development of authentic relationships. I operate from a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive framework that is LGBTQ2IA+ affirming.

I have training and a special interest in working with emerging adults and those who are parenting emerging adults; I can assist you in navigating this unique developmental stage. I also have a great deal of experience in evidence-based treatments for OCD and insomnia.

I believe that when we truly connect with each other, amazing things can happen. I look forward to helping you increase your emotional awareness and regulation, make genuine connections with important people in your life, and succeed in creating the life you desire.
